The Belt and Road Multinational Enterprises Alliance, originally known as the Hong Kong International Multinational Enterprises Alliance, was established in 2009 and later became an independent, non-profit business organization registered in Hong Kong. The Alliance’s leadership has included executives in several influential roles, such as Chairman of the CEPA Zero Tariff Services and Products Introduction Association, Executive Chairman of the World Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Executive President of the Hong Kong International Belt and Road Federation, and President of various other prestigious organizations.

The Alliance is led by a team of global elites, including professionals from multinational companies and publicly listed businesses. Their collective expertise spans multiple industries, and the Alliance’s mission is to foster cooperation and innovation along the Belt and Road, creating a platform for businesses, governments, and institutions to collaborate and thrive in an interconnected global economy.

The Alliance aims to co-build an innovative service platform for multinational enterprises along the Belt and Road, establishing key initiatives such as the United Nations Economic and Financial Research Institute, an international bill trading center, and a Chinese PhD Expert Group for the Belt and Road.

It seeks to strengthen global networks by fostering cross-industry elites and business chambers in the Greater Bay Area, organizing Belt and Road events and forums, and promoting international cooperation through world-class investment platforms and e-commerce solutions tailored to the Belt and Road countries.

Additionally, the Alliance is dedicated to creating cultural, trade, and industry platforms, supporting multinational enterprises in collaborative efforts, and improving global economic stability and fairness. It also plans to launch a Belt and Road magazine, develop charity funds, and enhance business development through technical training and global business exchanges.
